Ongoing Informational Support

​From the time you hire me until 6 weeks postpartum, you will have access to ongoing support. You are welcome to reach out with questions related to your pregnancy, upcoming birth, or the postpartum period. I am happy to share evidence-based information to help you make informed choices.

Prenatal Meetings​

We will have two extended prenatal visits to discuss your pregnancy, birth preferences, and any concerns or questions you may have. These meetings allow us to get to know one another and provide time to review your birth plan, explore labour preparation, learn and practice comfort measures, and discuss coping techniques.

On-Call Support From 37 Weeks Until Birth

​Beginning four weeks prior to your estimated due date, I am on call for you 24/7 until the birth. Please contact me immediately if you believe you are in labour or if your waters break.

Unwavering Labour & Birth Support​

I will be present with you (and your partner, if applicable) throughout active labour and birth, offering continuous emotional, physical, and informational support. I prioritize your comfort and well-being and may use a variety of comfort measures, including:

• Massage

• Breathing and relaxation techniques

• Meditation and affirmations

• optional TENS machine support

• Mexican Rebozo techniques

• Positioning, movement, and hydrotherapy

Immediate Postpartum Support​

I will remain with you for approximately 2 hours after the birth, offering gentle postpartum support, including assistance with establishing breastfeeding and helping you feel settled before I leave.

Postpartum Follow-Up Visit

One postpartum follow-up visit is included to review your birth experience, answer questions, and ensure you and your baby are doing well.​

Backup Doula Guarantee

I work with a trusted secondary doula who will be introduced to you during your pregnancy and become familiar with your birth preferences and care plan. In the unlikely event that I am unable to attend your birth due to illness or an emergency, the secondary doula will attend your labour so you are never without experienced, continuous support.
